[Recommendations] Valentines Magical Girl Anime

Miracle romances have been a common thing in the magical girl genre since the 90s when Sailor Moon popularized the phrase. Even before then shows like Creamy Mami and Magical Emi usually had some sort of romance angle going on. So, in a genre with an emphasis on miracle romances which shows are the MOST ROMANTIC? Or at the very least which ones are the most focused on the romance aspect of the story.

​While this may not be the "most" of either of those options here's a list of 4 magical girl anime that have romance as the focus.

Nanatsuiro Drops

Nanatsuiro Drops is not only one of the more whole pieces of seinan magical girl media out there but it's entire premise is a girl falling in love with a boy without even knowing what he really looks like. Big Beauty and the Beast vibes only replace the Beast with a cute stuffed animal sheep and remove the Stockholm Syndrome concerns. 

Wedding Peach

Wedding Peach is the Sailor Moon Copy Cat that took the idea of the "Miracle Romance" and cranked it up to 11. The entire show is based around the idea of weddings. Also, it has the best visual sight gag I have ever seen in a magical girl show. I laugh at it every time.

Pretear

Pretear is based off the Fairy Tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarves but like most anime adaptations only vaguely resembles the source material. This being said it still features a True Love Conquers All motif and both show and manga feature a "Reverse Harem" which, like, A+.

Lady Jewelpet

Being the a love... triangle...? square...? is one of the main plot points of the show I would be amiss to include Lady Jewel Pet. This show neatly pairs off everyone and even though you know who's going to wind up with who it's sure is a fun journey seeing it through. It's also one of the few shows that let's a magical girl keep her glasses after she transforms into her pretty dress, which i think is dope.
