    Terms & Conditions

    Payment, terms and conditions will be determined on a per case basis depending on the opportunity. Any opportunity involving travel must reimburse for travel expenses in addition to whatever payment is agreed upon. I reserve to retain the rights to all works written unless otherwise stated in agreed upon contract.

    Agreed upon payment must be received immediately upon services rendered. If payment is delayed 30 days or more a 10% late fee will be added to the total payment. If I am demonstrably at fault for the delayed payment the late fee is waived. 

    For speaking/presenting: If event is canceled with less than 24 hours 50% of the agreed upon payment is still due and any booked travel expenses including but not limited to airfare, hotels, bus tickets, vehicle rentals, etc. must be reimbursed. Aforementioned late fees are applicable if payment is not received within 30 days. Exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances on a case by case basis. If I cancel this line is moot and the interested party has no obligation to make payment.

    For writing/research: Any work provided outside the agreed upon contract scope will result in additional charges. A minimum of $0.25 per word will be added. Turn around time is dependent on the frequency and number of edits made by the interested party, as well as the timeliness of the provided edits. I am not at fault for a delay in final product if the delays are due to the interested party. Once contract is signed service cannot be canceled. If services are canceled full payment is due and late fees apply.  Exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances on a case by case basis. ​
